Station Square South Heidelberg

Bahnstadt Heidelberg is one of the largest urban development projects in Germany – its over 100 hectares make it even larger than Heidelberg’s Old Town. Station Square South reflects the innovative power of Bahnstadt and becomes the spacious gateway to a new, modern urban quarter.
Our contemporary square design symbolises this relationship between Bahnstadt and the railway station: the pavement pattern condenses towards the station, guiding the flow of traffic. The pavement pattern also announces the station and railway as the departure point for the urban development of the entire Bahnstadt area.
